Hollytree Boarding Cattery

21A Blackheath, Colchester CO2 0AE, UK – 01206 562338

Just pick my two kitties up from Cindy having booked last minute as my usual Cattery was full. My two were so relaxed on drop off that I switched all of my future bookings to Hollytree - I’m so glad I did as my two looked happy on pick up top too. I’ve not seen them this content at a Cattery for a long time. Thank you Cindy, I won’t be taking my two anywhere else. 👍🏻

Best cattery we have ever used!! It's lovely to know when we go away again that our cats are with people with a genuine love for cats!! Our cats have never been so relaxed to be somewhere other than home, great service and could never go to any other cattery now! Thanks so much Cindy and Andy.. see you soon.

Vets

Colne Valley Veterinary Practice

Maudlyn Rd, Colchester CO1 2GU, UK – 01206 794695

A great veterinary place to go to you'll find that the staff are very friendly and helpful and the vets and nurses take great care of the animals they are seeing or needing to operate on they are the worth 5*. My parents took the dogs we had growing up to the same vets when they only had a small practice elsewhere near where they are now and we've gone with them from the old place to the huger practice they have as the amount of staff and patients grew bigger and bigger and continue to grow, my family has stuck with the same vet all these years so John has seen all the dogs we've had throughout the 42 years we've had dogs. I have been having rescue dogs of my own for 18 years now as I am living alone and a few of mine saw John but as he's overflowing with patients I had whichever one was free til January and my Rosie who is weary of men she doesn't know as she's rescue and her brother passed away last year we found that she likes Ben so now I take her to see him. But you'll be pleased with whichever one you see they all do a great job at this vets.

A veterinary centre that cares. Its clear when the vets examine your animals that you're not just a customer number, but someone who is concerned about a member of their family. All the staff are friendly. caring and importantly, give you time. It doesn't matter if you need to ask one more question to be reassured, or ask that silly question you should know. The staff are knowledgeable about a wide range of animals - not just the usual cats, dogs and rabbits. Appointment reminders are sent via text, and annual reminders for boosters and vaccinations are also sent out. The centre is easy to get to with an ample car park.

Excellent vets. Fully equipped surgery. They take fantastic care of my little dog who has glaucoma. Unfortunately her right eye had to be removed but they are doing their best to save her left eye

Best vets. Good value and really nice people they love animals I highly recommend and they had a separate seating area for cats and had plenty of treats on hand and fussed over my cat and he was lovely and relaxed :)

I've never faulted the care at this vets. I've ised it for many many years. I've also used other vets in this time but I have always come back to this vets. It feels so personal at this vets. The care and compassion is just wonderful. They are not money grabbing like the vets around colchester that are becoming very commercialised. This independent vets has that personal touch. Will always plead with people to use this vets over any other as I have had a huge range of animals and have had countless vets visits and emergency and many different vet experiences. They are very very helpful try their very best with options and advice.

Polite staff. Good vets. Our dogs treated very well.
